National Cowboy Poetry Gathering Silent Auction

Hummingbird Bracelet from Vogt Western SilverA popular part of the National Cowboy Poetry Gathering is the Silent Auction that is held in the lobby of the Elko Convention Center. There is always a wide range of western objects to bid on. All items are donated by our generous Western Folklife Center supporters.

Consider contributing an item or experience to the silent auction. It's a great way to advertise your business and product while supporting the Gathering and other Western Folklife Center programs. Let your imagination and generosity run wild while you support cowboy poetry and culture! Donations and questions? Volunteer for the National Cowboy Poetry Gathering

Volunteers at the Gathering, photo by Jessica Brandi LiflandThe National Cowboy Poetry Gathering would not take place every year without the dedication of more than 400 volunteers. We literally could not get everything done without this passionate community of supporters. We hope you will join the team!

During the National Cowboy Poetry Gathering, volunteers help visitors, take tickets, tend bar, drive shuttles, work in the gift shop, assist in youth programs, log program information, serve as docents in the Wiegand Gallery, and much more. As thanks, each volunteer receives a Deluxe Pass pin allowing free entry to all non-ticketed daytime sessions and the program book.
