DAY49- a day to catch up
I was sure that I was leaving on the morning when I awoke, at least it was my plan. But after a waffle and eggs breakfast, Chuck told me to hang around and work on the Blog if i would like. And he headed off to the bike shop to work for the day.
_ MY NEW CYCLING FRIENDS CHUCK WILKINS FORGROUND, AND GREG IN BACKGROUND
So, here I sit, in a not so strange strangers home, working on his laptop and doing up my blog. It is now about 6:45pm, and I have been after it since about 7:45 this morning. When today is over, I am completely caught up, and vow to get each day up as I ride.............come Hell or HIgh Water.
We are all going to supper tonight, my treat to Beth for putting up with a stranger in her basement. I say thanks to both of them, without folks like these these trip would have been very diffucult indeed. Our meetings in life are not by accident, they are by purpose. And from it we should savour each character that we meet, and apply the same caring hospitality to the next stranger that we inturn meet...................the second most important commandement.
Good Night and God Bless
- CHUCKS STEED OF CHOICE WOULD BE THE 3 WHEEL RECUMBENT WITHOUT ANY DOUBT, ADN THIS ONE CERTAINLY HAS EVEN JEREMIAH INTERESTED IN LEARNING MORE ABOUT THEM

It's funny...I leave the website for 2 minutes and all of these new blog entries pop up like crazy! You sure have done a lot of work on this blog. The photography is incredible, and the captions are hysterical! We are all praying, and I hope all is well. God bless!

Hello Jeremiah, Haven't been able to talk to you for a few days but thinking of you sooooo often. We made it safe to Wichita Falls and the Sparks say Hi and we had a great visit and kids even got a few minutes of "kick the can" in before turning in for the night. Arrived here at 4 p.m. and with my #1 helpers the booth was set up "lickity Split" as my mom would say. Talked to Neil and your Mom is doing fine and back home now. Hey I sense that your spirits were near the bottom but isn't it great how the Lord brings the right person into your path just when you need it? Pine and Nevada both say They LOVE you a whole lot and YOU CAN DO IT DAD!!! You are very close to the end but Jesus will keep those legs fresh each and everyday. You are in some VERY neat looking country places we have never gone so take the time to enjoy it. Hey Pine liked the snake skin around the photo--Pretty cool. He just finished reading Treasure Island as he really enjoyed that book and it was fun to read. Stopped at a Barnes and Nobles today for a short break and Pine bought another Mario Puzeo book and Nevada a new author Mystery and really has some great words in it. Also found a 9 hour tape book on the history of Ireland. Will listen to it on the way home. I best sign off and do my situps and pushups as Pine is just finishing his and Nevada well.... she is already asleep. Love you alot and PRESS on for JESUS. Love Colleen

Jeremiah, greetings from Clarksville. We prayed the wet wind when you left was at your back and not your face as you steered toward Springfield. We were so pleased that you excepted our invitation to our home. As a kinship bicyclist too Chuck, it was wonderful to share his experiences as well as hear yours in comparsion. You both have created some wonderful archives for future story telling, and memories to rememise, when days are gone by. I am starting to pack for Calif. and have already started planning of how to deliver your package, so do not worry it will be done. I just again want to say it was wonderful to have made your aquaintance, gotten to know you as a friend. We pray daily for a safe comfortable ride and good weather for traveling in, plus warm, flat, dry nights to sleep. May the Lord grant you many wonderful blessings along the last leig of your travels, for it is now when they will be of greatest need and humble receiving. Beth & Chuck , TENN
