The sunflowers are almost finished blooming in our area - the ones left that the endless wind hasn't blown apart! Still, their distinctive smell reminds me that summer is almost here.
When we do have spring storms I try and have my camera loaded and ready for these amazing clouds.
Now that lambing is almost finished we are preparing to gather all the small bunches to mark and brand. The weather has been harsh for lambing this year, and the coyotes have been hungry, but hopefully we will have a good crop of new babies and they will be able to go with their moms to the high country for the summer.
