It isn't very smart to be driving on the Black Rock Desert during a rainstorm, but I couldn't resist this time. I was very lucky to not be mired down. The desert is normally such a beautiful, quiet space - that is except when the Burning Man Festival is going on. Then tens of thousands of people settle on the Black Rock Desert to "do their thing".
