I took this photograph of Julia Ascuaga at her home in the Basque country several years ago. Julia and her husband bake speciality breads in their outside ovens at home - one for black bread and one for white. These breads are sold to eager customers in Bilboa every Sunday. She is a wonderful cook and gardener. Julia also loves her animals and was trying to coax her lepie colt to drink.
