Riders on the Flat
Our mailbox is at the end of a two-mile dirt road that intersects with Hwy. 140. On my way to the mailbox one morning I saw the cowboys moving cattle to Quinn River Ranch. The early blue light on the mesas and hills added just what I needed. After leaving the mail and making the photograph, I drove the 75 miles to Winnemucca to help organize another year of Shooting the West, The Nevada Photography Experience.
