Magen already had her horse saddled and was waiting on the rest of the gathering crew. She had time for one last cup of hot chocolate. This photo was taken at our summer camp in the Bilk Creek Mtns. just after the sun rose. A full day of gathering cattle from the mountaintops and through the aspens awaited her. It's a job she knows well because kids on ranches are taught the ways of cowboying early from their elders.
