It sure is good to see the old place in working order! I found this site while searching for Paregien family links. Your site is a nice one. It was fun to view.

Glad you ran across the “old place,” Shawn. When the dust settles, I’d sure like to take you and your Dad up the new road in Ridenhour Canyon from the Dry Creek side – 20 minutes with a gooseneck to the corrals. We’ve done substantial brushing on the north end, cut a couple of new roads and just put a pump in the well we drilled in the flat by the corrals, not far from the one your grandmother witched that went dry several years ago. We still have the tank and PVC to install this summer, utilizing the big trough your Dad put in. Effie’s spring and the one where the windmill used to be are down to trickle, looking more like September than June. It’s gonna be a dry one! Be careful out there.
