Western stories and poems of Bruce Kiskaddon, with illustrations by Katherine Field. Edited and with an historical introduction by Bill Siems. Although Kiskaddon was and remains widely known for his poetry, between 1932 and 1939, he also wrote and published short stories in the Western Livestock Journal about the true cowboy life in the 19th and early 20th centuries. Those stories are collected here, along with selected poetry.
