Corrido de los Latinos Unidos - English |

Corrido of the United Latinos by José F. García (translated by Juan Díes)
My fellow Mexicans united, Let’s win this case! Honduiras and El Salvador, Ecuador and Guatemala, Also Santo Domingo, China and Spain too.
We are all united In the legalization [lobby]. We are working people; Just ask the boss: Who picks up the harvest In the fields with the hoe?
We ask Congress To review this situation: In one day, without Latinos, This nation will be ruined. President Bush Has already taken action.
A few renegades Who deny being Latino Don’t want the “wet ones” Here in the United States. [But] on a day without Mexicans Only cries will be heard.
They have put up a fence for us So that we may not return, But that doesn’t keep us From crossing: We jump like deer And we enter like moles.
And with this, I say goodbye We are united Latinos We fight for our rights Here in the United States We are working people, And we don’t ask for welfare.
