 When and How to Purchase TicketsTickets for the National Cowboy Poetry Gathering go on sale for Western Folklife Center members only, beginning in September. The general public may purchase tickets one month later, in October. The ticket button to the left will be your link to purchasing tickets online. Purchasing tickets online is the fastest, most efficient method. Our online ticketing service uses SSL technology to protect your transaction, so your information is secure. You may also call in your order to 888-880-5885 (toll free) or 775-738-7508 (in Elko or outside the U.S.). All orders placed online or over the phone will receive an immediate confirmation number with verification of seating assignments, if applicable. Mail-in orders are discouraged because the additional processing time required for mail orders may result in some shows being unavailable before your order is finalized. For members purchasing tickets online to the 27th National Cowboy Poetry Gathering, the qualifying criteria will be last name, city, and the two-digit abbreviation for your State or Province. This information will be on the mailing label of your preliminary brochure. We will publish a specific telephone number for you to use if you have problems purchasing tickets online on the beginning day of ticket sales on September 7, 2010. "Ticketed" programs and workshops are sold separately from the majority of performances that take place during the four busiest days of the Gathering - Wednesday through Saturday. A four-day Deluxe Pass provides admission to all "non-ticketed" sessions during this four-day period. Single Day Passes will be available for Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. If purchased prior to December 18, four-day Deluxe Passes are the typically $10.00 less than after that date. The program book, if not purchased as a part of a Deluxe Pass, is an additional charge. Children under 12 are admitted FREE to all "non-ticketed" daytime events. |
