Labor Day may signal the end of the summer, but it also means it's time to purchase or renew your Western Folklife Center membership so you can buy tickets to the 27th National Cowboy Poetry Gathering on Tuesday, September 7. You can purchase your tickets beginning at 9:00 am Pacific Time that day, either online at www.westernfolklife.org or by calling 888-880-5885. You can also mail in the order form from your National Cowboy Poetry Gathering brochure, but post office delays may mean you don't get the tickets you want. To purchase tickets online as a member, you will need to know your membership level. The system will also prompt you for your last name, city of residence and your state or province. Refer to the label on your brochure for exactly how our system will recognize you.

The 27th National Cowboy Poetry Gathering promises to be another extraordinary event, as we welcome some wonderful new entertainers, welcome back our favorite poets and musicians, and learn about the horsemanship and cultural traditions of csikos from the great plains of Hungary. Poetry, music, workshops, exhibitions, films, theater, fun and fellowship await you January 24-29, 2011 in Elko, Nevada. For more information about the 2011 Gathering, visit our Gathering website where you can read the bios and listen to a selection from most performers at the the upcoming Gathering.
