Red Rock Rondo is Charlotte Bell (oboe, English horn), Phillip Bimstein (vocals, guitar, composer), Hal Cannon ( vocals, mandolin, mandocello, banjo, harmonica, accordion, jaw harp), Harold Carr (upright bass, spoken word), and Flavia Cerviño-Wood (violin), Kate MacLeod (vocals, violin, guitar).

This Zion Canyon Song Cycle visits ghosts in Grafton, stolen quilts in Rockville and moonlight sonatas in Springdale, Utah. A new Americana song cycle by Phillip Bimstein celebrating the history and contemporary life of Zion National Park and its neighboring communities, this CD includes 16 studio-recorded songs:

Zion Canyon Song Cycle was commissioned by the American Composers Forum, recorded with the support of the Zion Natural History Association and the Utah Arts Council, and is a signature project of Zion National Park's 2009 Centennial, "A Century of Sanctuary."

The CD is a companion to our Red Rock Rondo DVD, a musical documentary film that was recorded and filmed LIVE in and around Zion National Park.
