Become a Western Folklife Center Member: Purchase Tickets Early and MORE

Tickets for the National Cowboy Poetry Gathering go on sale starting at 9:00 am Pacific Time on September 6, 2011, for members only: one month earlier than non-members. To purchase tickets online as a member, we will ask for your Last Name and City when you log on to purchase tickets.

Prior to purchasing tickets, we ask that you please check your membership to ensure it is active, and for the benefits level and the amount of tickets you may purchase for shows. Be sure to join or renew your membership prior to Wednesday, September 1, 2011; if you are not a valid member by this date, you must call in your order, as our online ticketing system will not recognize you as a member.

In addition to buying tickets early, members of the Western Folklife Center can request free tickets to one of the two Members' Shows. The quantity of Members' Show tickets available at the various member levels is listed as a total number allowed (not for each show). Tickets can be requested for one or the other of the two Members' Shows, or for levels with multiple tickets, you can request to split them between the shows. Members' Show tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Consider upgrading your current membership to obtain even more free tickets to these two shows! Exclusively, members are invited to attend the Opening Reception celebrating the new exhibition in the Wiegand Gallery that will premiere in Elko for the National Cowboy Poetry Gathering. Members are also invited to a special (and delicious) Rocky Mountain Oyster Tasting during the Gathering.
