National Cowboy Poetry Gathering Silent Auction
A popular part of the National Cowboy Poetry Gathering is the Silent Auction that is held in the lobby of the Elko Convention Center. There is always a wide range of western objects to bid on. All items are donated by our generous Western Folklife Center supporters.
Wander through the display cases that include original paintings and photographs, framed posters, carvings, jewelry—including, for the 31st Gathering Silent Auction, the lovely bracelet shown above in hand-engraved, solid sterling silver accented with flowers and hummingbirds in stirling and 14K gold, antique finish—clothing, working gear, books, CDs and unique travel experiences.
Stop by the Silent Auction desk at the Elko Convention Center and sign up for a bidder number, then bid on these one-of-a-kind mementos of your National Cowboy Poetry Gathering experience. Bidding typically opens on the Monday beginning the Gathering, and it closes at 5:00 pm Saturday, the last day of the Gathering; the list of successful bidders will be posted at 6:30 pm next to the Silent Auction Desk.
