Let's Dance! at the Western Folklife Center

The Western Folklife Center’s G Three Bar Theater continues to be a lively place with twice-monthly dance lessons followed by dancing every 2nd and 4th Thursday. We invite you to join us at 501 Railroad Street, Elko, for a fun evening. Cost is $5, Adults and teens welcome. NOTE: In November and December, there is only one dance night.

Lessons begin at 6:00 pm, followed by open dancing from 7:00 - 9:00 pm.

The Western Folklife Center is hosting Let’s Dance! - - a twice-monthly event that includes dance lessons followed by open dancing. A partner is not required and beginners are welcome to join the fun. Amy Mills, Western Folklife Center programs coordinator, will be your host and dance teacher. Let’s Dance! started with swing on May 9, 2013. Dance nights for 2014 will be: February 13 and 27 * March 13 and 27 * April 10 and 24 * May 8 and 22 * June 12 and 26 * July 10 and 24 * August 14 and 28 * September 11 and 25 * October 9 and 23 * November 13 (one night only) * December 11 (one night only)
