Join us at the Western Folklife Center on December 7, 2013 for an Italian-themed reception honoring our two exhibitions, Words + Images: Broadsides o the Black Rock Press and Italian Buckaroos: New World, currently on display in the Wiegand Gallery. These shows will close on December 18, so this is one of the last chances to view these exhibitions as well as a great opportunity to meet local Italian-American families and warm up with festive food and drink. During the event, Italian-American families in the Elko area are invited to put their family names and home places on maps of Italy and Nevada, and sign a special guest book.
The reception will take place from 3:30-5:30 pm, and Gallery entrance will be free to the public. For more information, call us at (775) 738-7508.
