The Cowboy Poets - Live at Elko DVD

Here it is, at long last: the reprise of The Cowboy Poets: Live at Elko, capturing the irrepressible spirit of the 10th annual Cowboy Poetry Gathering, held in 1994. An abbreviated version from the original, viewers will experience a bit of history, poetry and music. Among the featured performers are South Dakota buckaroo poet Bill Wood, Nevada cowboy poet Waddie Mitchell, Montana rancher and poet Wallace McRae, and the music of Michael Martin Murphey, Don Edwards,  Riders in the Sky, Ian Tyson, and the Sons of the San Joaquin.

Running time: 56:32 minutes.

All proceeds from the sale of this DVD support the mission of the Western Folklife Center. Produced by Alan B. Sacks and Hal Cannon with the assistance of KUED, University of Utah.
