The oblong wild rag for the 2012 National Cowboy Poetry Gathering features the work of western artist, Jo Mora at both ends. This 50" long, 16mm charmeuse sillk scarf with hand-rolled edges is made exclusively for us and features the Jo Mora black ink illustration, "Singing to 'em," created for the book Trail Dust and Saddle Leather, Jo's endearing tribute to all things cowboy. Joseph Jacinto "Jo" Mora (1876-1947) loved and lived the life of an American cowboy. From his first-hand experiences on western ranges he depicted cowboy life in his detailed drawings, sculptures and writings. The illustration is used with permission from the Jo Mora Trust.
