Western Folklife Center presents Fiddlers' Pilgrimage: The Weiser Legacy, a tribute to the National Oldtime Fiddlers Contest and Festival. Tribute a one-hour radio documentary airing on Boise Public Radio (KBSU-FM) May 18 at 7:00pm and on KBSX-FM on May 19 at 8:00pm, as well as a concert event at Boise State University Special Events Center, 1800 West University Drive, on May 10. May 11, 2013During the Elko Art Walk, the Western Folklife Center Gift Shop will feature Nevada authors Sally Whipple Mosher Mooney and Dave Secrist, as well as demos by northeast Nevada artists: jeweler Kristi Lyn Glass, smoke artist Lynn Kistler, photographer Susan Summer Elliott, and watercolorist Wendy Ehrmann.
